A bright Air that celebrates the birth of Christ.
I wrote it to greet the Claringbull family when their first daughter, Rachel, was born. It can be accompanied by tambour and recorder. But it can be sung unaccompanied too: as a solo; or in unison; or perhaps accompanied by voices singing a drone on D.
It can also be harmonized, in which case voices A can sing the refrain while voices B sing the verse, the voices swapping with each new verse. Do move it along lightly, joyously
