*** Christian Aid called for new hymns to mark its fiftieth anniversary, and this was my offering. It took me two years to determine the music for this text: I was staying in SEA BREEZE Avenue, Singapore when I realized that the words wanted to sing along to the Ode to Joy in Beethoven’s NINTH Symphony.
