The thinking behind this text was inspired by John (later Bishop) Davies’ exposition of Galatians 2.15-3.9, highlighting verse 20. 
 “Only a person who has been grasped by a gospel of his or her deep valuedness will have the nerve to confront the ideological idols which make people support inhuman policies.”
