*** In 1986, in the Upper Basilica at Assisi, the World Wildlife Fund promoted an Interfaith celebration of our collective stewardship of the planet . I was a helper at that festival, and, when I was invited to give a live report of the gathering, I wrote this hymn for the occasion .
