*** This song was commissioned by Peter Coleman for a live transmission of Radio 4 Morning Worship from St Paul’s Cliifton Bristol on the Sunday before the Feast of the Ascension of Christ in 1971. The brief Peter set me was “Now you see him, now you don’t”. In the service the piece was sung by Peter Firth. (Note for hoarders of nice facts: both Peters subsequently became bishops.)
