** As a boy I warmed to the simple beauty of YORK, the 1615 Scottish setting to which this part of Psalm 122 is usually sung. These days I feel the need to incorporate some recognition of the past and present history of Jerusalem and the poignant ‘atmosphere’ that infuses all prayer for that Holy City.
