* In October 2011, as part of a national celebration of the seventy-fifth birthday of the Hymn Society of Great Britain and Ireland, a bi-lingual interdenominational festival Cenwch Clod Ddyffryn Tywi Valley Sing Praise was held at Capel Salem in Llandeilo Fawr. Giving expression to some of the Towy Valley’s spiritual history as well as its topography, this hymn was written for that festival, to music by Revered Michael Cottam, Vicar of nearby LLANGADOG.
I am particularly pleased that Siôn Aled, a distinguished hymn-writer in Welsh, re-created my text to make a second new hymn for the festival Cenwch Clod.
